A Brief Bio

Chris J Arnold, is a writer. He is. His ambition was always to become a full time author - you can ask his teacher Mary Wilson who helped plan his career path thirty years ago. He now spends his day wrangling epic fantasy tales and hopes to share those with you.

In his past, Chris co-founded Smaller Earth Group, founded World Merit, and co-founded Heroic Books.

 

At Smaller Earth Group, Chris helped deliver international cultural exchange programs for over 100,000 young people something that provided an understanding of how to engage the upcoming generation in global issues.

 

This led to the creation of World Merit in 2012, an organization that quickly built a youth membership of 120,000 and a direct partnership with the United Nations. World Merit Councils host events and actions in over 160 countries - from Syria and Sudan to the United Kingdom and United States.

 

More recently Chris helped set up a new venture, a publishing company focused on Fantasy & Science Fiction. His idea was to learn more and appreciate the industry he was writing for. Heroic have a growing roster of authors from across the world and are already working with numerous bestselling authors.

He says that his strengths are not for him to say; but his flaws are headed by a proclivity for name dropping. He wants to be an author you enjoy and hopes to chat with those who share his love for epic fantasy.
